The sower

Its story time today, I bet we could use a little story sometimes..

Today's remarkable story is a parable from the bible on the sower, but I'm going to tell it a little differently from what you're used to( that's for those who know it).

It goes thus:

An optimistic sower went out one hot afternoon to sow some seeds, and certain things occurred as he went about his business and I'm going to break it down here...

On his first attempt of sowing his seed, some fell by the wayside and the birds ate them up...(too bad right),

On his second attempt at sowing his seeds, some of it fell on stony ground, and because there was not much earth, when the sun came up it withered away...(Still a very poor campaign..don't you think)

On his third attempt at sowing his seeds, some of it fell among thorns, and got choked so they did not eventually grow(can it get any worse than this?)

On his fourth attempt at sowing his seeds, some of it fell on good ground and brought forth good fruits, some thirty, some sixty, some hundred.( Yea...it does get better if we stick around long enough)

So who is the sower?

The sower is YOU.


Yea... you have an excellent opportunity, or an idea, and you've started to do something about or yet to, but at every attempt to take off there seems to be a spook in your wheel.

What you going to do?

Pack your bags, and go home sobbing and whining why everything is not going well for you?

Or...

You're going to continue sowing that seed, acting on that idea even when everyone doesn't see it just yet?

Listen...

The tides will always work in your favour if you are ready to stay the course long enough.

So don't be despondent about your idea, or opportunity because it will always find good ground at the end.
